This is the year of the tiger. The daring and the brave fare best in tiger years. It's a year of infinite possibilities.
In observance of the new year we've been cleaning and clearing and sprucing up the apartment to make way for some of these "infinite possibilities."
One of my projects was to make a curtain for our bedroom window. We live in a nice building now so I wanted an attractive curtain to replace the old blanket I've had hanging in the window for the past 8 months!!!
I turned to my SnB friends for help. Claudine explained to me how to sew curtains and Johanna helped me pick out a pretty blue fabric with a pattern along the border. The fabric wasn't long enough so I added a strip of kaki at the top.
I've got fabric left so pillows are next on my list.
I hope this new year brings us all lots of exciting new opportunities!
They look like something you would buy at Anthropologie!

Thanks Claudine!! Your comment reminded me that YOU were the one who told me how to make curtains. (I just went back and gave you credit in the post.) I did just what you told me to do and the curtain came out great! Thanks.
